I wish I could say I lost 20 lbs (did anyone guess it? no?), but really it's that my synthroid dose has been dropped. I might have sort of kind of put off the blood test I'm supposed to go get done every 3 or 4 months for more like 8. I lost the paper work, and it took a while to get more. The day after I finally went and got it done, they called me with a dose change. Oopsa!
Hopefully this doesn't mean that I gain weight. Decreasing my dose (this is the second time) always worries me (okay, not really worries, but I can't think of another word) for a bit. This is my metabolism we are talking about. I put a lot of time and effort into trying to stay in shape and trying to have lots of energy for tournaments. It's weird to try (don't laugh, I do try) to watch food, sleep, stress etc, and then to get a 137.5 ug curve ball throw in there. We'll see. ;)
The good news is, they are still blue. :)
ps. The isotope shortage will very bad for people getting diagnosed with thyroid cancer now. Iodine 123 is a big deal.
