Toronto Bike Wandering 2

I went for another training/funsies/picture-taking ride in Toronto today. I checked out Tommy Thompson park, as per the suggestion in the comments section of my other Toronto bike riding blog. It looked like a great destination from here, because I could ride the whole way along the water. Plus it's only open on weekends and holidays. Perfect.

I've painstakingly posted a map of the route, which was about 45 km. I do mean painstakingly, because Blogger is being a little bitch today.

I rode Barracuda today, the bike my friend Nat lent me.

Here are some shots from the ride.

I had lunch here, because there was a live band playing and rock to sit on. They were very enjoyable, and there was a man on stilts dancing away to the music. I tried to get a picture of the band (no dice), the stilt man (shitty picture) and this dude, juggling fire (what dude jugging fire, you say? Look closely. Someday I will buy myself a nice zoom lens. Or eat lunch closer to men juggling fire).

You know you are new somewhere when you take pictures of their public transportation.

This was also taken during lunch.

Who has Heart in your head now? Everybody!

In an unrelated note, NATIONALS is NEXT WEEK. :)

Ha Ha! You are sooo right about taking pictures of public transit when you are new to a place! And taking pictures of storefronts, down at the street (cobblestones and what have you), postboxes, parks, etc. You're obviously excited about it and that's AWESOME.

Also - great pics!
