After that, I moved to Dust To Dust
You might enjoy reading if you like to read about life in Canada, sports, travel, brain issues, books, randomness or the environment. To make things interesting*, I had an aneurysm and intensive brain surgery at 32. If you can relate at all, or are curious about thoughts from a damaged brain, read on. *If that's not the reason, then I am still searching for it.

Really Good Books by Dead Guys
I've had The Catcher in the Rye
by J.D. Salinger on my list of things to read for ages. It's supposed to be a classic. It's also on my "list of 50 books to read to be well read" that's on my fridge. I forgot about it, until J.D. Salinger passed away. I put it on hold at the library (I guess a few other people had the same idea) and.....it's amazing. Read it! It's not at all what I thought it would be about, even though I had no idea what it was about. I was hooked from the opening sentence.
After that, I moved to Dust To Dust
by Timothy Findley. Timothy Findley is one of my very favorite authors. After he died, I stopped reading his stuff. I didn't want to read through all of it too quickly. I over-compensated. I didn't read any Findley for years. I was hooked again from the first story, Dust. (It's a book of short stories). Dust turned out to by my favorite in the book, but the whole thing is really good.
