You might enjoy reading if you like to read about life in Canada, sports, travel, brain issues, books, randomness or the environment. To make things interesting*, I had an aneurysm and intensive brain surgery at 32. If you can relate at all, or are curious about thoughts from a damaged brain, read on. *If that's not the reason, then I am still searching for it.

Disc Golf and Boat Ride Last Weekend
Last weekend, a few of us took the ferry across to Toronto island for a round of disc golf. I hadn't played disc golf in ages, and you could tell. I think I hit a tree on every hole. It was a nice warm day, and I enjoyed myself in spite of sucking. After the round, we had a beer on a patio with a sweet view of Toronto. It really felt like being fully out of town, even though we were just across the water. Anyway, back to the patio. After lunch and a beer or two, this really awesome boat docked right in front of where we were sitting. Deb joking said, "guys, let's take that boat back"....and we DID. Over the next hour the captain befriended us, and offered us a lift back to the Tdot. (If he owns a boat, he has to be a captain, right?). It was pretty fun. I felt like we owned Toronto just a little.
