Giant

Last weekend, I bought a bike at the Toronto Bike Show. So far I'm really happy with it. I think the bike is very good for what I want it for. Since I'm a map geek, I posted the two rides I did this weekend. Here are some random thoughts on my bike/riding:

• I need to get a cheap pair of Shimano pedals. Right now I'm just riding in flats. Does anyone have spares? I actually think I might have some in Calgary, but I won't be able to check for a while yet, because my trip home (early Nov., for work) got cancelled. Boo urns!
• Street car tracks scare me.
• It still feels a little strange to me to not be on a mountain bike.
• I know I've said this before, but holy crap, road bikes are fast and light compared to mountain bikes.
• Riding is fun. I've missed it and I'm so glad to be back on a bike.
