Take a look at the visitor centre. It looks pretty cool. The Living Building Challenge is interesting, and the brain child of a Canadian. Click here to see more details on the building and how it works. Unfortunately their website is such that you will have to click the "click here to see VanDusen's exciting future" red banner to check out the links the green box. I'd link it for you but VanDusen's webdorks won't allow it.
The website says "opening in October 2011". Does anyone (Vancouver?) know if this has been built yet?
