You might enjoy reading if you like to read about life in Canada, sports, travel, brain issues, books, randomness or the environment. To make things interesting*, I had an aneurysm and intensive brain surgery at 32. If you can relate at all, or are curious about thoughts from a damaged brain, read on. *If that's not the reason, then I am still searching for it.

I'm Used to Craziness in the News....but No Hockey?
I read a lot of news, and there has been some stories the last couple of days. There's always something happening, of course. Sometimes I skip the international news if it's been nothing but bad news for days. Some of the things that surprised me in the last couple of days were Escobar's homophobic remark on his eye-black, renewed hate on Salman Rushdie, and a couple of more murder's in Toronto. There's so much stuff like that, making me shake my head at the state of the world sometimes. I think I've become a bit desensitized to it. With all that (and much more) happening in the last day or two, I've paid the most attention to the NHL lockout. What?? Hockey might not start on time!?
