New Brain Doc

I've been sent to a new brain doc in Toronto, who I hear is a "McDreamy equivalent".  As if there could be an equivalent.  ;)  The purpose is so that he can determine what sort of angiogram I should have next (very soon).  I recently learned that the three I have had previously have been the most invasive sort, and that there are a few other options with less risk, and less radiation.  One is an MRI version, which sounds like it does not involve shoving giant needle anywhere.  Of course, the most invasive procedure also gives you the best picture (of the blood supply in my brain).  They are still sorting out what kind I need.  Really, all this has been to save me one trip to Ottawa.  They told me I could it done in Toronto and bring the results to my appointment.  NOT that simple.  I'm not at all surprised.

The new doc gave me an answer I liked a lot better about my MRI results.  He had they looked quite normal for someone who has had the surgery I did, and that they did a great job.  I've heard that a lot.  The brain damage is "normal".  That's a funny statement.  Disclaimer: he wanted to look at all of my images before really telling me much.  The Civic has yet to send the bulk of my images.  None the less, positive news.  Infarct is minor. (?)
