So how many of you thought I fell off my bike? For once - no. Although I did manage to burn my calf pretty good on the weekend on my rotor. Is that normal? Anyone? Are they supposed to get that hot? "The Fall" I refer to is the season. Crescent Heights is looking beautiful these days. Here are some pics I took on my bike ride in my neighbourhood.
You might enjoy reading if you like to read about life in Canada, sports, travel, brain issues, books, randomness or the environment. To make things interesting*, I had an aneurysm and intensive brain surgery at 32. If you can relate at all, or are curious about thoughts from a damaged brain, read on. *If that's not the reason, then I am still searching for it.

Riding and the Fall
Tonight on my bike I saw a crazy lady. In this case, you could have seen her from a car too, although you would have been hitting the breaks. She was crossing a bridge over the Bow on 16th ave. I don't know the name of the bridge, but if your traveling west on 16th ave, your next exit would be 34th ave/Sarcee (Totem, the store, not the pole, on your right). You know, that bridge. The lady was walking east in the far south lane, hugging the concrete barrier. There a shoulder or anything, so we're talking inches from the barrier and more importantly, inches from the highway traffic. Here's the really crazy part - she was pushing her baby in a carriage.
