I have found some weird and random stuff that I didn't know I owned, in my packing.  Here are a few of those things.  
Firstly, an autographed poster of Goren Kropp, the semi-famous, crazy Swiss adventurer.  The dude rode his bicycle from Sweden to Everest, summited without Oxygen, and then logically, rode home again.  I saw him speak at UofC.  He was quite the character, and kept saying funny phrases, like "Kropp on top!".  Sadly, only about a year after seeing him speak, I read in Outside magazine that Kropp died climbing in Washington.  It was strange to read in a magazine that someone I had met had died.
Switching gears, I also found a dime from 1942, and a quarter from 1937.  I'm pretty sure my Grandparent's on Dad's side gave them too me.  They smooth and flat and really friggin' old.  I like it.  ps.  this is as close as I will ever come to 'old money'.  Born with a silver spoon in my mouth or WHAT. ;)
Finally, I think the Lion King poster was a precursor to my Christmas cards.  I'm pretty sure I got the poster as a gift, and turned it into a Christmas project.  I think I might have been in high school, or maybe early University.  If you just said "huge dork" out loud, I'm not surprised.
