Brussels is Freezing

It is a good thing the waffles are so amazing - yum - because Brussels is freezing. I landed around noon, and the captain announced that it was 18 C. I think it hit 21 C by the afternoon, but still; 18 C. Vienna was 37 C yesterday. A cotton shirt during the day? Lunacy. This afternoon, I almost wished I had jeans. Jeans!

The waffles really are fabulous, enough to mqke up for "winter".

At the airport in Vienna, I was handed a "sun reminder" bracelet. It turns blue with UV exposure to remind you to put on sunscreen etc. Unfortunately, it is normally a sickly trqnslucent colour, which just reminds me that I turn a sickly translucent colour when not in the sun.

I'm off: typing on a azerty (seriously) keyboard is frustrating.

I left Abu Dhabi when it was 47 degrees, and it was 8 this morning. Unlike your b-tching - I LOVE IT!! Bring on the 18 degrees!!!!

I read 18C and 21C and thought it would be so nice if the weather here in Canmore would reach such warm temps! We got snow in the mountains 2 days ago. Grant says suck it up buttercup! :)
