Caribana

This weekend, Jo and I helped out with some stuff for Caribana, happening very soon in Toronto.  Jo's family is really involved.  I wonder if any of them had reservations about letting a giant white brain patient help out.  It was a fun, and really cool to see some of the work that goes into Caribana.  After we finished the belts were were gluing, Jo took me by a Mas Camp (spelling?) and see some of the costumes.  They were very colourful and totally unique.  It was really cool to see.

Master glue gun operator at work.  This is the sort of gun that I support.
Bases of head pieces.
 So many colours:
If that was all I was wearing, I'm not sure I'd put the hat where it was intended.  Those costumes are small!

I think it's safe to say that my family now considers you an honorary Trini.

I'm also proud that you haven't glued yourself to anything....yet.
