You might enjoy reading if you like to read about life in Canada, sports, travel, brain issues, books, randomness or the environment. To make things interesting*, I had an aneurysm and intensive brain surgery at 32. If you can relate at all, or are curious about thoughts from a damaged brain, read on. *If that's not the reason, then I am still searching for it.

Oregon Coast - Cape Lookout
I decided to rent a car (cheap on a Sunday), rent a tent (and sleeping bag/thermarest) and head to the Oregon coast. I did a coastal camping trip in 2004 (?), so I knew if I could get myself to the coast, I would not be disappointed. Cape Lookout was beautiful. I got a hike with great views, and turned around when it would have gone past light excerise (s.o. hard to do). After the hike, I walked barefoot on the beach for while, then hung out and read. The sunset last night was spectacular, and the sound of the ocean was all around me. I could here the ocean from my tent. It's early, but I'm very tired. Here are some pictures.

Re: Bottom most photo:
I'm surprised you didn't mistake that twig (right corner-ish) for a snake.....
You did...didn't you?
Haha good one. Well, from were I was, it was clear that it was not a snake, and one of those nasty kelp things. N a s t y! I think I would prefer a snake.
