Steve Jobs: A Biography by Walter Issacson

I was thinking today that my last post proves that I am a bit shy on blog material these days.  Bookmarks.  Lame.

Thankfully, I finished a book, so I can write about that.  I received Steve Jobs biography for Christmas.  He's an interesting guy.  It's a good read.

I enjoyed reading the book, but I was a bit conflicted about Jobs.  Mostly: I didn't like him.  He sounds like an a$$hole with screwed up priorities.  He's very mean to people, even those that he cares about.  His behaviour went against my morals on many occasions described in the book. Taking credit for others work?  Hypocrisy?  Humiliating people?  Not cool Steve, not cool.

On the other hand, we was a visionary.  And I really love my iPhone.

His story is well worth the read.  RIP Steve Jobs.
