Photos from Vancouver Island: Self, Slug, Bear

Jo correctly pointed out that all of the pictures from the trip where of her, at least the ones with people.  She sent me some shots of me to post.  Also a slug and a bear.

Photo 1: Goldsteam Provincial Park at Niagra Falls.  No, that's not the infarct speaking.  They are really called that.
Photo 2:  Giant tree, tiny Giant.  (Jo calls me Giant)

Photo 3: With Glacier, Jo's cousins doggy.

Photo 4: Sunset on China Beach.  Great shot Jo!

Photo 5: Tide pools at Botanical Bay.

Photo 6: This friend joined us for a late camping dinner.  We had just pulled some golf balls off the beach.

Photo 7:  We made little inukshuk versions of ourselves, after making bigger ones at the falls.  The $1.97 on crazy glue was very well spent.  Notice that we picked a rock with a big divit for my head.

Photos 8: The tiny black blob that I labeled is a black bear!  Luckily, he was far away on the beach.  I wish I had a zoom lense.  We had a car too.  Phew.  Jo spotted him as we were driving back to Victoria.  In this case, it was clear that she saw a bear.  Bear!  Sometimes with a Trini, it can be unclear whether there is any danger when it comes to have word, as "beer" and "bear" and pronouced very nearly the same.  Picture things like:
"There is a bear behind you"
"Ahhhhhhh!!"
"What is it?  Do you not like Sleeman's???"
Okay, I made up this conversation, but I swear we've had close conversation.  By the way, photographs are bear/beer thing are used with permission by Johanna Elias.
